Man Arrested for DUI With Children in Car: Wilton Police

The man also was driving without a license.

WILTON, CT — A man with an unknown address was arrested Sunday for driving under the influence with children in the car. Police arrested Enrique Lopez-Lopez after stopping him on Ridgefield Road near Drum Hill Road at around 6 p.m.

Police say a motorist called the department and reported a suspected impaired driver. After police found the driver, they administered standardized field sobriety tests. Lopez-Lopez did not perform the tests to standard, according to police.

He was placed under arrest for driving under the influence, driving under the influence with children in the car, operating without a license and failure to drive in a proper lane.

He was issued a $1,500 bond and was due in court on June 12.
