WILTON, CT — A driver with a flat tire was charged with driving under the influence on June 9, according to Wilton Police. Jason Scheckner, 37, of Redding was seen traveling on Danbury Road at around 1 a.m. with a flat tire. Police say he was stopped at Danbury Road and Catalpa Road, and failed the field sobriety tests. Police say he had a blood alcohol content of .1927, more than twice the legal limit. Scheckner was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive right.
