In response to a post that offered an interactive map and whose headline begged the question, "Map: What Are the Richest Parts of Town?", Wilton Patch readers may have clicked like crazy, but they were not impressed.
And although the post received 25 Facebook Likes and 12 Tweets, we may have ruffled a few feathers.
Created centrally at headquarters, the post ran on hundreds of Patch sites across the country and featured a map tailored to each town. The maps showed the median income in different parts of town using information from the US Census Bureau.
On Wilton Patch's Facebook page, readers did not mince words.
- Alison Conroy. One of the many great things about Wilton is that there isn't a "side of the tracks." I have no interest in looking at something like this.
- Sabrina Learman. Same. What's the point of this?
- Jessie Jacquet Adams. Totally obnoxious and pointless.
