UPS Driver Sold Stolen Cell Phones: Wilton Police
Police say the cell phones were bought using someone else's personal information.

WILTON, CT — A UPS driver from Norwalk was arrested Wednesday for allegedly participating in a scheme where he would sell fraudulently purchased cell phones that he was supposed to deliver, according to Wilton police. Jonathon McClain, 26, of Norwalk was arrested on two arrest warrants Wednesday, according to police.
Police say that two complaints from Tolland and Southington said their personal information was used to buy cell phones online, and the cell phones were set for delivery at various residences in town. Police say McClain would drive to the homes where the phones were supposed to be delivered, but wouldn't deliver a package.
Wilton Police say they cooperated with UPS management to find that McClain was aware of the purchased phones on his truck, and he would sell them to third parties.
