Wilton Announces Funding Opportunity Through State Tax Credit Program

The Town of Wilton and local tax-exempt organizations may qualify for funding through the 2025 Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act.

WILTON, CT – The Town of Wilton and local tax-exempt organizations may qualify for funding through the 2025 Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA) Tax Credit Program, according to an announcement from the Office of First Selectman Toni Boucher.

The NAA program allows businesses to receive tax credits for cash contributions to municipal and nonprofit organizations. Contributions supporting energy conservation projects and college loan forgiveness programs are eligible for a 100 percent tax credit. Donations to initiatives such as neighborhood assistance, job training, education, crime prevention, childcare centers, and community services qualify for a 60 percent credit.

Businesses must submit Form NAA-02 electronically to the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS) between Sept. 15 and Oct. 1, 2025. These forms will become available on Sept. 15 on the DRS website.

Local organizations interested in applying must complete Form NAA-01 and submit it to Hadley Boyd at hadley.boyd@wiltonct.gov by May 22, 2025. The Wilton Board of Selectmen will review and approve proposals at its June 2, 2025 meeting. Approved projects must be submitted to the DRS by July 1, 2025.
