Wilton Man Ditched Car After Crashing Twice: PD
Police say he was also in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

WILTON, CT — A local man was charged with leaving the scene of a crash and walking home on Silver Spring Road early Tuesday morning, according to police. Police say Ludwig Griffin, 31, struck a utility pole on Millstone Road before leaving the scene and striking a mailbox on Silver Spring Road.
Police say Griffin allegedly drove off the road and struck a utility pole, causing him to lose a tire. Griffin allegedly continued towards Silver Spring road where he drove off the road again and struck a mailbox.

Police say Griffin then abandoned the car after the second accident, and then walked to his Silver Spring Road home. When police arrived, Griffin was found with less than 0.5 ounces of marijuana. To sign up for Wilton breaking news alerts and more, click here.
He was charged with evading; failure to drive in established lane and possession of less than 0.5 ounces of marijuana. He is due in court on June 12.
