- First day of school: Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016
- Labor Day (school closed): Monday, Sept. 5
- Rosh Hashanah (school closed): Monday, Oct. 3
- Columbus Day (school closed): Monday, Oct. 10
- Professional Development (school closed): Tuesday, Oct. 11
- Yom Kippur (school closed): Wednesday, Oct. 12
- Professional Development Day (no school): Monday, Nov. 7
- Election Day (no school): Tuesday, Nov. 8
- Veteran's Day (no school): Friday, Nov. 11
- K-8 Conferences: Nov. 17-22
- Early Dismissal: Nov. 23
- Thanksgiving (school closed): Nov. 24-25
- Professional Learning (delayed opening): Friday, Dec. 9
- Holiday Break (early dismissal): Friday, Dec. 23
- Winter Break: Dec. 26-Jan. 2 (school resumes Jan. 3)
