More Great Accomplishments By Windsor College Students

WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted as they are received in the coming weeks.

American International College, Springfield MA

• American International College (AIC) held its 139th commencement ceremony on May 11 at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield, celebrating more than 600 graduates in the Class of 2024. Among the graduates were six residents of Windsor: Ananda Burnard, Bachelor of Arts degree in the communication program, Brianna Westberry, Bachelor of Arts degree in the sociology program; Claudier Albert, Bachelor of Science degree in the public health program; Gauntlett Cephas, Master of Education degree in the middle school education program; Telicia Brown, Master of Science in Nursing degree in the family nurse practitioner program; and Antonette Fuller , Master of Science in Nursing degree in the family nurse practitioner program.

College of Charleston, Charleston SC

• John Dreyer of Windsor graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from the College of Charleston. Dreyer was among the more than 1,450 students who received degrees.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester, in which more than 1,200 students were recognized for maintaining high GPAs.
  Among the students were Windsor residents Victoria Daye, Kaitlin Gervais, Annika Lachniet, Justin Levine, Isabel Medina-Ayala, Yetsael Medina-Ayala, Abriana Rivera and Aleyshka Zayas Caez. To qualify for Dean's List, full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credits in letter-graded courses with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher in the semester.

Grove City College, Grove City PA

• Liza Kearney and Isabelle Koistinen, both of Windsor, were among 419 students who received degrees from Grove City College on May 18, 2024. Both were also named to the spring 2024 Dean's List.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the spring 2024 Dean's List, which includes Cailynn Danneman and Hope McCann, both of Windsor. To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average.
