The Town Planning and Zoning Commission accepted an application for a new fast-food restaurant to be located in the Windsor Shopping Center: a <a href="http://popeyes.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen</a>. Popeyes will be located in what was once a McDonald's. The storefront has been empty for years, according to Town Planner Eric Barz, and the owner of the property will be combining the front business space with what was once a beauty salon to the building's rear. A wall will need to be knocked out to combine the two units. On the application, the owner said the establishment of a Popeyes in the shopping center will bring new jobs to town, improve the building's exterior and interior, and keep locals from driving out of town to go to a Popeyes. <a href="http://popeyes.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Popeyes</a> specializes in Louisina-style fried chicken.
