New River Trail Provides Local Getaway

The $.8 million project officially opened this month.

Windsor residents recently gained access to more of Windsor's natural landscape this month with the official opening of a $870,000 trail along the Connecticut River in Windsor Meadows State Park.

The 10-wide paved pedestrian path meanders along the river for roughly 3,200, according to the town, starting at the Bissle Boat Launch and ending near Meadow Road.
