Career and technical education programs received a close examination from United States Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Connecticut) Friday.
In recent years, high schools across the country have worked to provide students with skills that will enable them to get a job right out of high school, or give them skills that will give them a head start heading into college.
Windsor High is fortunate to have federal funds on hand, through the federal Perkins grant, to improve upon the real-world skills taught to students.
United States Senator Richard Blumenthal made a trip to Windsor High School Friday to take a look at the use of the school's Perkins grant money and the various achievments of the schools students.
