Today Last Day for Mail-In Registration for Aug. 14 Primaries

Voters can still register in person at their local Registrar's Office until Monday, Aug. 13.

Primary day in Connecticut for state, district and municipal office is less than a week away, and one of the first deadlines for those elections will pass Thursday. 

Thursday is the last day that would-be voters can mail-in their registration cards to take part in the Aug. 14. primary. 

Monday, Aug. 13, is the last day that perspective voters can register in person at the Registrar's office, or can change their affiliation from unaffiliated to vote in the primary (May 14 was the last day to change from a major party affiliation to vote in the primary).

The primary will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 14. All eight Polling Places in Manchester will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday for the primary.
