The Windsor Historical Society recently announced the winners of its "Windsor Icons" Photo Contest.
Sofie Oliveira, 13, of Windsor Locks, took first prize for her photo of Windsor's Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Oliveira's photo will be archived and made into a postcard for sale at the society's gift shop, according to a post on the organization's Facebook page.
Melanie Oliveira, 41, of Windsor Locks, placed second in the contest with her photo of the 1867 Railroad Bridge.
Molly Stromoski, 18, of Suffield, earned third place with the image of "To the Patriots of Windsor."
