Quassy Amusement Park's 3-D Fireworks

What: Spend the holiday at the park and enjoy 3-D Fireworks after dark with special viewing glasses sold for $2.

New Milford Fireworks Celebration

What: The town's annual fireworks celebration will also include an opening ceremony and music.

Where: New Milford Town Green

When: Saturday, July 1; opening ceremony at 6:30 p.m., fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

New Britain "Great American Boom"

What: About 40,000 people come to the annual event which in addition to fireworks includes food trucks, a DJ, entertainment, and more.

Ridgefield Family Firework Celebration

What: The town will hold its annual celebration with a number of vendors on hand providing food and treats.
