Litchfield Corrections Officer Arrested on Sexual Assault Charges
A 37-year-old Litchfield man was arrested after he allegedly had inappropriate contact with an inmate.
A corrections officer at Hartford Correctional Center turned himself in to Troop H Barracks on Saturday, March 5.
The active arrest warrant for Paul Rosenberg, 37, of 64 East St., Litchfield, charged him with three counts of sexual assault in the fourth degree.
"A criminal investigation was initiated as a result of an inmate incarcerated at Hartford Correctional Center reported that he was inappropriately touched by the accused,” according to a police report from State Police.
The alleged incident occurred on or around August 13, 2015.
