Middlebury School Named in Boston Globe Sex Abuse Story
The newspaper explored claims on dozens of private schools in New England, reported to have had instances of abuse or harassment by staff.

The Boston Globe published a story from its investigative Spotlight team exploring claims of sexual abuse and harassment of students in private schools in New England.
The Globe explored claims in the more than 60 schools reported to have had instances of abuse or harassment by staffers.
The investigation echoes the Spotlight team's dive into the Catholic Church sex abuse scandals, which spawned the Best Picture-winning movie Spotlight.
Here's a look at the Connecticut schools the Globe listed in its new report:
- Assumption Catholic School (Our Lady of Assumption School) in Fairfield
- Brunswick School in Greenwich
- Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford
- Eagle Hill School in Greenwich
- Indian Mountain School in Lakeville
