Popular Franchise To Open Watertown Restaurant

WATERTOWN, CT — Wayback Burgers announced a franchise location will open at 1142 Main St., Watertown in early 2022, according to a statement. The restaurant will be the nineteenth Wayback Burgers location owned and operated by local franchisees in the company's home state of Connecticut.

“I’m so excited to announce the lease signing and entry of our Wayback Burgers restaurant in Watertown,” Jia Zhou Lin, local franchisee, said in a statement. “I’ve been a cook for over 20 years and chose to open another Wayback Burgers restaurant because of its fresh and high-quality menu items. The Watertown area is a great fit for the brand, and I look forward to continuing to bring excellent service and exceptional meals to our guests.”

Wayback Burgers offers a variety of cooked-to-order burgers available as a single patty or classic double patties. The “Cheeeesy” is a fan favorite and comes with four slices of melted American cheese and two beef patties cooked-to-order, sandwiched between an inverted, grilled, and buttered bun.

The restaurant also offers cheesesteaks, crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches, veggie burgers, Impossible Burgers, chicken tenders, fresh salads, and delicious sides, including fries, onion rings, mac & cheese bites and house-made chips.
