Woman Pointed Gun at Driver During Road Rage Incident in Middlebury: State Police

Police say the car the woman was driving had been stolen out of New Hampshire.

MIDDLEBURY, CT — A Waterbury woman was arrested after police say she pointed a gun at a fellow driver while they were stopped in heavy traffic on I-84, according to state police. Francheska Texidor, 20, allegedly pointed a handgun at another driver while in traffic due to a crash in the area of exit 17.

Police also found that the vehicle had been stolen out of New Hampshire, and found the firearm that she allegedly pointed at the other driver.

Texidor was arrested and charged with criminal use of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, threatening in the first degree, reckless endangerment in the first degree, weapons in a vehicle, illegal possession of a large capacity magazine, breach of peace, operating without a license and operating an unregistered vehicle.

She was released after posting bond and scheduled to appear in court on June 29.
