WOODBURY – Woodbury Firefighter Allyson Modica gives Santa a big hug at the volunteer department’s annual Christmastime dinner on Dec 10th at the 1754 House. Lee Warner, a retired firefighter, firmly denied he was dressed at Santa. “That was the real Santa Claus,” said Warner. “I am a lot younger, and I don’t know have any reindeer.” One of the evening’s traditional events was Former Chief Bud Neal reciting “T’was the Night Before Christmas” and handing out specially chosen gifts to all the children. Firefighters, partners and spouses, children, fire commissioners, and selectmen all enjoyed a grand time. Meanwhile, Bethelem’s fire department located a truck and firefighters in Woodbury for town protection under a long-standing exchange pact. ###
