Woodbury 25May2025—The Woodbury Fire Dept’s newly restored 1947 Jeep led the department’s vehicle parade in the town’s Memorial Day event on May 24th.

Driving Firetruck 7 is Firefighter Mitch Chester with passenger and fellow department member Jonathan Kapstein in his USNavy khaki uniform. The truck restoration was done with parts donated from NAPA Auto Parts and work donated by Murray Brothers’ Garage, both in Woodbury. Among other updates, the electrical system was converted to 12 volts and the siren now works. When not in use, the Jeep rests quietly in the department’s Hotchkissville Company garage. ###
