WOODBURY – The Woodbury Fire Department’s carnival was off to a roaring success with happy customers at the 2025 Labor Day weekend event. “We are also so happy about the new raffle prize of a community basket,” said Fire Chief Janet B. Morgan. “Our target was a thousand dollars in value,” she added, “and donations ended up worth $2,500 ranging from gift certificates to bottles of rare wine.” Firefighters pitched in to prepare, cook, and serve food while rides and fun events attracted happy crowds to the Hollow Park event evenings Thursday Aug 28th through Saturday Aug 30th.
