WOODBURY April 1st, 2025 – Woodbury Fire Chief Janet B. Morgan explains the workings of a firetruck to rapt schoolchildren at Region 14’s Touch-A-Truck Day at the Mitchell Elementary School, Tuesday April 1st 2025. In the photo, Chief Morgan is telling fifth graders about the functions of the driver who is also the pump operator. A moment later she opened a truck locker to show different hose outlets such as a fog nozzle used to cool an area so firefighters can enter and a smoothbore nozzle for a full-flow, direct water attack on the source of flames. Engine 4 was the willing participant.
