Woodbury Man Faces Charges After Allegedly Taking Out Crosswalk Sign
The following arrest information was supplied by the Woodbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Thomas Mukon, 26, of Woodbury, was charged with operating with a suspended license and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, on Feb. 8 at approximately 2:21 p.m.
According to police, Mukon was involved in a one-car accident when traveling north on Rt. 6 near Rt. 317 in Woodbury. There was a thin layer of snow on the roadway and Mukon slid off the right side of the road and struck an electronic pedestrian crosswalk sign.

The sign was knocked to the ground, the pole broke and possibly sustained internal damage, said police.
