Woodbury Registrars Hosting Ballot Testing Before Referendum

Voting on the Region 14 referendum will take place Wednesday, May 18.

The Woodbury Registrars of Voters will hold a public ceremony to test the ballots in the optical scan machines for the upcoming referendum on the Region 14 operating budget.

The ballot testing will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, in the Registrars office and adjoining conference room in the Shove Building, 281 Main Street South.

Region 14 Board of Education members and employees, as well as town officials, may attend or designate watchers to be present when the ballots are tested. The general public, members of political committees, civic organizations, and members of the press are also welcome.

The polling place for the Region 14 referendum on Wednesday, May 18, will be at the Woodbury Senior Community Center at 265 Main Street South. Voting hours are from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
