WOODBURY, CT — A local eatery is under investigation by the state's Liquor Control Commission in connection with the death of Katherine Berman, the wife of ESPN anchor Chris Berman, reports the Hartford Courant. Police say Berman, 67, ate lunch at Woodbury's Good News Cafe with her sister prior to the crash, where police say she drove into the rear of another car on Sherman Hill Road.
A Waterbury man was also killed in the crash.
