Woodbury Ski Area to Reopen

The ski area had been closed for the past three months.

The Woodbury Ski Area will reopen three months after it was closed following owner Rod Taylor’s death, the Republican-American reports.

The new manager, Scott D’Amato announced that the business would potentially reopen by the end of the month for the winter.

According to the paper, Taylor’s wife, Carolyn Taylor will remain the owner of the business.

While prices will remain the same, D’Amato told the paper changes were being made for safety, ease of operation and flow of people. D’Amato also plans on hiring local people this season.

D’Amato told the paper he was excited about the business reopening but was sad that it would be the first season without Taylor.
