Are the Summer Olympics 2024 Coming to D.C.?
Recently elected Mayor Muriel Bowser will pitch the location to the U.S. Olympic Committee.

Already home to the first 3D presidential portrait and possibly the most expensive dog in the world, D.C. may be able to add Summer Olympics 2024 to the list.
Soon-to-be sworn-in D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser will travel to California this week to pitch the District as the olympics location to the U.S. Olympic Committee.
In order to accommodate Bowser’s trip, the D.C. Council’s legislative meeting was switched from Tuesday to Wednesday, The Washington Post reports.
