Burglar Smashes Store Window

The front window of City Sports on M Street was smashed around 4 a.m. on Dec. 8, said Metropolitan Police. 

The store's security camera recorded a suspected burglar breaking the glass-paned storefront and going into the store, police said. 

The suspected burglar then grabbed several North Face jackets and left, getting into a car waiting out front, police said. According to the video recording, "the entire incident took less than one minute," police said.

Police described the suspected burglar as wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a dark jacket. 

"Detectives are reviewing all available video in the area," Police said.
