Christmas Bazaar at Georgetown House of Sweden

The free event offers traditional Swedish baked goods, decorations, and more Dec. 6.

Georgetown is packed with holiday events this weekend! In between attending the grand opening of Dog Tag Bakery and the Parade of Lights at the Southwest Waterfront, stop by the Swedish Christmas Bazaar.

The Swedish Women’s Educational Association is hosting the bazaar at the House of Sweden, 2900 K Street NW, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The public is welcome and admission is free.

  • Baked goods
  • Open-faced sandwiches with shrimp, salmon, meatballs, or cheese
  • Swedish delicacies including “princesstårta” and “glögg”
  • Artisans and vendors with crafts, textiles, books, and Orrefors glassware
  • Traditional Swedish Christmas carols by Santa Lucia Procession
  • Raffles with prizes including a roundtrip ticket from D.C. to Stockholm, Sweden
