Construction Delays for Metro Trains This Weekend
Schedule changes will be in effect for all lines.

The Metrorail will experience schedule changes this weekend due to continued construction.
Starting 10 p.m. Friday to midnight Sunday the Metrorail lines will have an altered schedule. The Orange, Silver, Blue, Green, and Yellow lines will operate every 16 minutes as opposed to the usual 12 minutes schedule.
For the Red line, free shuttle buses will replace the rail between the Rhode Island Avenue and Silver Spring stations.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to midnight Sunday, the Red line will run on the following schedule:
- Between Shady Grove and Rhode Island Avenue: from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every 10 minutes and at regular intervals other times
- Between Silver Spring and Glenmont: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every 10 minutes and at regular intervals other times
The Brookland, Fort Totten, and Takoma stations on the Red line will be closed as well.
