D.C. Native, FOX News Employee Competes on ABC's 'The Bachelor'

Jillian Anderson will be up against 29 other bachelorettes for Chris Soules' heart beginning Jan. 5.

Get ready for cat fights, tears, and, of course, roses in the 19th season premiere of The Bachelor on Jan. 5.

The reality show will follow bachelor Chris Soules, 33, as he dates 30 women in order to find a potential wife.

Jillian Anderson, 25, a D.C. native and FOX News employee, will be one of the women trying to win over the farmer from Iowa.

Although not listed on the 2014-15 Washington Redskins Cheerleader Ambassador roster, Anderson’s LinkedIn profile says she has held the position since April 2013. Her profile also reveals that she has been on the Assignment Desk of FOX News since May 2014.

The 5’2” contestant admits in an ABC bachelorette questionnaire that having to talk about her personal life on The Bachelor may be her most embarrassing moment. Anderson also says in the questionnaire that she loves chocolate and Netflix and fears dating a guy with bad intentions.

When asked how she would impress a man, Anderson responded, “Be myself. If he’s not impressed he’s not the right one. I like intellectual conversations.”
