A crew began demolition on the historic <a href="https://georgetown.patch.com/groups/politics-and-elections/p/neighbors-anc-support-raze-permit-for-dent-place-home">"blue tarp" </a><a href="https://georgetown.patch.com/groups/politics-and-elections/p/neighbors-anc-support-raze-permit-for-dent-place-home">house</a> at 3324 Dent Place NW early today. The house has been considered vacant since July 2010, had a tree fall on it during Hurricane Irene in August 2011 and was designated a blighted property in November 2011.  Please share your thoughts in the comments. Is it sad to see this house go or is it a welcome change to the neighborhood?
