Early Voting Opens for D.C. Elections
Registered District residents can begin voting Oct. 25.

On your mark, get set, vote!
Beginning Saturday, District residents can participate in early voting in the elections. Registered voters will weigh in on a variety of measures from the new Mayor of D.C. to marijuana legalization.
There are nine locations that will be available for early voters:

- Chevy Chase Community Center, 5601 Connecticut Avenue NW Ward 3
- Columbia Heights Community Center, 1480 Girard Street NW Ward 1
- Dorothy I Height-Benning Library, 3935 Benning Road NE Ward 7
- King Greenleaf Recreation Center, 201 N Street SW Ward 6
- Malcolm X Elementary School, 1351 Alabama Avenue SE Ward 8
- One Judiciary Square, 441 4th Street NW Ward 2
- Sherwood Recreation Center, 640 10th Street NE Ward 6
- Takoma Park Recreation Center, 300 Van Buren Street NW Ward 4
- Turkey Thicket Recreation Center, 1100 Michigan Avenue NE Ward 5
All locations will be open 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day, except Sundays, through Nov. 1.

- Attorney General for D.C.
- U.S. (“Shadow”) Representative
- U.S. (“Shadow”) Senator
- Ward 1, 3, 5, and 6 Members of the State Board of Education
- Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner Offices
- Initiative 71 - “Legalization of Possession of Minimal Amounts of Marijuana for Personal Use Act of 2014”
