Fashion to the rescue

LiLi The First is joining the effort to support Ukraine

Can a small business in Washington DC make an impact on individuals in Ukraine? Can it help to change the course of life of even a single person?

LiLi The First boutique in Georgetown is partnering with one of it's local designers to support the people in Ukraine with food and medication. Alec Izarov, designer and founder of the fashion brand NY77DESIGN, a native Ukrainian who lives in NYC: "The sights of my own birth town are horrific and I felt like I had to do something. I created these summer sweaters to inspire support through fashion. I was born in Kyiv and the city will be always in my heart and I will go there after this terrible war."

100% of the purchase cost will be used to provide food and medication to the people of Ukraine. "As a local business, we see it as our social responsibility and the human thing to do. It is my honor to be able to contribute and to be part of this initiative", said Ifat Pridan, owner of LiLi The First.
