Four Persons of Interest for Metrorail Indecent Exposure

Over the past two months there has been an increase in the number of indecent exposure reports on the Metrorail system, authorities say.

The Metro Transit Police are seeking assistance in identifying four persons of interest for indecent exposure.

The police do not believe that the incidents are related and there are no warrants for the individuals.

“Indecent exposure cases can be a gateway crime to more serious sexual misconduct, which is why we have placed a priority on advancing these investigations,” Metro Transit Police Chief Ron Pavlik said. “We are absolutely committed to keeping Metro a safe space for all riders.”

Red Line at Rhode Island Avenue, Sept. 3, approximately 12:15 a.m.

Red Line at Gallery Place, Aug. 28, approximately 9:51 a.m.

CASE 2014-50172: Person of Interest

Red Line at Glenmont, Oct. 6, approximately 2:45 p.m.

CASE 2014-45464: Person of Interest

Green Line at Naylor Road, Sept. 13, approximately 11:25 p.m.
