Georgetown Business Improvement District: Georgetown Butcher 2-Year Anniversary
The Washington Post wrote a great story on owner Wendell Allsbrook, whose dream of owning a business was a decade in the making.

March 10, 2022
This week Georgetown Butcher (3210 Grace St NW) was finally able to *properly* celebrate its grand opening after first welcoming customers in March 2020 – just two days before a global pandemic was declared. Last year, The Washington Post wrote a great story on owner Wendell Allsbrook, whose dream of owning a business was a decade in the making. Once the pandemic began, Wendell pivoted in every way possible to not only keep his doors open, but become the go-to-guy for every cut and type of meat you can imagine – plus luxury products (wagyu and wild game), seafood and grocery items. Check out the Georgetown Butcher website; pick-up and delivery are both available, and loyal customers can earn up to $750 in free dining credit by opening a House Account.
