Head to Georgetown this weekend to learn local history through the story of several historic churches’ stained glass windows. Dumbarton United Methodist Church, Georgetown Lutheran, Epiphany Catholic Church, and Mt Zion United Methodist Church will be open on Sunday, Nov. 14 from 2 pm – 4 pm for free short tours and talks about their beautiful and artistic stained glass windows. Start at any church and walk to the next venue. Masks and sign-ins required.

If you’re near upper Wisconsin Ave. visiting the churches, make sure you check out another work(s) of art – an exhibit featuring the creations of 34 local artists on the lamp-pole banners in Book Hill.
