We had a very special guest in Georgetown on November 3! Lester Holt filmed the NBC Nightly News live from the Georgetown Decks on Wisconsin Avenue – part of his NBC Nightly News Across America series. Lester (we’re on a first-name basis now) filmed several pre-taped segments throughout the day – including a Nightly News Kids Edition that will air this weekend – before going live at 6:30 pm on the Decks in front of Luigi Parasmo Salon. Special shout-out to Lutece, the Georgetown French restaurant that provided food for the crew that day. A producer told us it was by far the best food they’ve had during this week’s Across America series, and if it’s good enough for Lester Holt, it’s good enough for us!
