Georgetown Parking Lot to Become Two-Story Retail Center

The Prospect Street parking lot will become a shopping destination.

The parking lot on Prospect Street in Georgetown will become a two-story retail destination, called Prospect Place.

According to the Washington Business Journal, the Weaver family has owned the lot for over a century and will maintain ownership when McCaffery Interests Inc., builds the two-story 27,600 square feet retail center.

Designed by Antunovich Associates, Prospect Place will have an underground parking garage with 101 spaces, which is 20 percent more than it currently has, the WBJ reports.
