Georgetown Road Closings and Parking Restrictions Halloween 2014

In anticipation for large crowds, there are road closings and parking restrictions in Georgetown beginning on Halloween.

Any emergency no-parking restrictions were posted at least 72-hours prior to Halloween with effective dates and times. Police coverage will be focused on 28th Street NW eastbound to the Key Bridge NW westbound, K Street NW southbound to P Street NW northbound.

The Georgetown Business Improvement District noted the restrictions in a press release.

The following routes will have parking restrictions from 4 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday. Drivers should plan alternative parking plans.

• K Street NW from 30th Street to Wisconsin Avenue NW
• Water Street NW from 33rd Street to the Mouth of the Capital Crescent Trail
• 1000 – 1300 Blocks of Wisconsin Avenue NW
• M Street NW from 25th Street to the Key Bridge
• 1100 Block of 26th Street NW
• Thomas Jefferson Street – 1000Block (From the Canal North to M Street)

The following streets will be closed from 6:30 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday. Only residents, visitors, and employees of businesses who show proof of work or residence will be able to access the roads.
