Update: Police Reopen Georgetown Streets, Monitor Traffic
A bomb threat caused multiple street closures.

Most streets have been opened, excluding 26th St. and Virginia Avenue, after closing for about four hours because of a bomb threat at the Swedish Embassy, the Metropolitan Police Department said.
Georgetown traffic is still significantly delayed, but traffic control officers are assisting pedestrians at the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and M Street, N.W., police said.
K Street, 27th Street, Rock Creek Parkway and several surrounding streets were closed because of a bomb threat to the Swedish Embassy at 2900 K St., N.W., on Thursday afternoon, a WTOP report said.
A message saying that a bomb was already in the building was left on the embassy switchboard, the report said.
The building was cleared while embassy officials checked each room of the building, the report said.
