President John J. DeGioia offered a statement on standing with the Ukrainian community and described some of the early efforts of the Georgetown University community to support Ukrainian students on campus and the people of Ukraine at-large.

Fr. Mark Bosco, SJ, Vice President for Mission & Ministry, sent a message to students, faculty and staff on the war and humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, calling on the University community to join Pope Francis in prayer and fasting for peace and sharing available support and mental health resources.

Faculty in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, particularly the Center for Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies (CERES), have been engaged by a range of media outlets to offer their expert perspectives on the crisis and where to go from here.
