Georgetown University Student Pleads Guilty to Lethal Poison Possession

After being arrested in March, Daniel J. Milzman will be sentenced on Nov. 10.

Daniel J. Milzman, 20, pleaded guilty on Monday to one count of possessing a deadly poison in his Georgetown University dorm room without registering it, according to The Washington Post.

In March, law enforcement officials found a biological toxin ricin in the student’s drawer.

Milzman will receive his sentence on Nov. 10.

Milzman faces a penalty of a fine or prison time up to five years. The prosecution and defense agree to one or two years in prison and three years of court-ordered supervision, according to the Post.
