Where/When: 414 N Fillmore St., Arlington. Both events will be held at this address on Saturday. The pancake breakfast will be served from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The square dance will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Why Go: If you're in the mood for a big, hearty pancake breakfast (complete with bacon or sausage, coffee, hot chocolate and orange juice), then make plans to attend at Lyon Park on Saturday morning. You can work off all those early morning indulgences with some square dancing Saturday night!
Pricing: Tickets to the pancake breakfast are $10. Tickets to the square dance are $25 for a family, $20 for a couple and $15 for a single.

Why Go: According to the Artisphere website, "Owen, an aspiring photographer, deals with an eye disease that has left him without sight in one eye and will soon leave him blind in both. Fearful and uncertain of how long his vision will last, his wife Laura proposes they fulfill their lifelong dream of a photography expedition to Yellowstone National Park. When they stop to visit Owen's childhood friend Eddie, he helps assuage Owen's fear of the unknown. But as the journey continues, Owen and Laura's love and trust in each other is tested, until Owen, determined to photograph despite his loss of sight, discovers that he has a choice to see what he wants to see." A question and answer session with the director will be held after the screening of the film.

Why Go: The St. Charles School will be holding an international dinner and dance on Saturday. The community is invited to them for "a family friendly eveing of great food and music!"
