Why Go: Here's one way to get out—get outside! Take advantage of this mild winter weather by participating in a winter tree walk with a local naturalist. You'll learn about the sometimes-difficult task of identifying trees in winter by examining bark, buds and other characteristics.

Why Go: This Wellness and Safety Fair will include free blood pressure and glucose screening, CPR demonstrations and even a how-to tutorial on fire extinguishers. If you happen to be shopping at the Social Safeway on Saturday, be sure to crave some time out of your schedule to spend at this free event.

Why Go: This exhibit features forty-two prints from Georgetowner Stephen R. Brown's book, Tidewater: The Chesapeake Bay in Photographs. The photographs will be on display in the museum from Jan. 26 through the end of March.
