Gloves Are Coming Off

LiLi The First boutique in Georgetown is presenting a chic, exclusive and diversified Fall Collection, making a clear statement on the style stage of Washington DC: It is not all about chain stores or conservative outfits. People in the District are looking for interesting clothing, they do want to make a style statement and to have a little funk.

What is so special about the collection is that it's not limited to a particular “style". The boutique is deliberately engaging with designers who have a different point of view on shape, fabrics and style. You can find an oversized dress made in Israel, next to an architectural fitted vest from Japan, right next to a fuchsia sequin top from Italy, and it all makes sense together.

The 7 years old boutique has a European flair and a comfortable, easy going shopping rhythm but also serves customers from out of state. During the pandemic the boutique launched its website, showing most of the collection online. In a bold move, LiLi The first chose to feature their own customers as the models, making the point that the clothes are for everyone. The boutique's Instagram feed is showing visitors and customer's own photos wearing the outfits.
