Healthy Living: Food Tank Celebrates 2nd Anniversary in Georgetown
The public is welcome for a reception and dinner with special keynote speakers Jan. 21.

Are you eating healthy and environmentally-friendly foods, Georgetown?
Food Tank is celebrating as it continues to promote a global community of safe, healthy, and nourished eaters. Part of its mission is to spotlight economically sustainable ways to alleviate hunger, obesity, and poverty.
The nonprofit organization welcomes rookie and veteran healthy eaters alike to join its second anniversary celebration. Partnering with Edible DC and Sustainable America, Food Tank will host the event at Farmers Fishers Backers, 3000 K Street NW.

Guests can attend the just the reception, dinner with speakers, or both from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Jan. 21.
Keynote speakers during the dinner portion of the event include Washington Post Food and Dining Editor, Joe Yonan, Chef Jose Andres, and Farmers Restaurant Group Founding Partner Dan Simons.

Tickets to Food Tank’s second anniversary celebration are available online:
- Reception: $35
- Includes appetizers and one glass of wine or beer
- 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
- Dinner: $200
- Includes admission to the reception, three-course meal, and a glass of wine specially designed for the event
- 7:30 to 9 p.m.
- Host Committee: $2,500
- Includes ten reception and dinner tickets, a signed copy of The Founding Farmers Cookbook by Chef Joe Goetze, and your name appearing as a host in event printed, media, online, and social materials
