GEORGETOWN, DC — Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis' Georgetown mansion, where she lived after President John F. Kennedy's assassination in 1963, sold this week, according to Realtor.com.
The home at 3017 N St. NW was first listed for sale at $10 million, but dropped back in October to $8,995,000. The house was sold for $6,500,000.
The six-bedroom, six-bathroom home is incredibly gracious. It's 6,258-square-feet and five stories. Realtor.com lists it as "estate like condition." The home has a brick exterior, a beautiful grand staircase, a gourmet kitchen, hardwood floors, a large outdoor porch and more.

The federal-style home was built in 1794. The First Lady lived in the home briefly with her children before she moved to New York in 1964, according to The Washington Post.
The home was presented by Realtor Nancy Taylor Bubes and brokered by Washington Fine Properties.
