Kids Euro Festival at French Embassy
The European culture is explored during Keen Day Nov. 1.

Workshops exploring Ireland, Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic will take place during the Kids Euro Festival.
Located at La Maison Française, 4001 Reservoir Road NW, Keen Day is put on by KEEN Greater DC (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now) as a way to teach about the European culture through performances and films. The event is Saturday, Nov. 1.
KEEN hosts 25 programs and serves 400 people with disabilities, including autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome, each year.

Children and young adults with special needs are invited to take a trip across Europe through the following events:
- Magic Show with Lauren Piron: 11 a.m. — ages five and up
- Animated Film A Very Fishy Story!: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — ages six and up
- Puppetry/Dance Bulgarian Folk Objects Come to Life: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — all ages
- Puppetry/Storytelling Czech Tales with Strings: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — ages five to 10
- Animated Film The Flame and the Cotton Ball: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — ages seven and up
- Day for Families with Special Needs Children: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — all ages
- Crafts Workshop Traditional Irish Handicrafts: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — ages 10 and up
- Animated Film Mr. Hublot: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — ages four and up
Admission is free and attendees can reserve spots online.
