Man Stabbed at Dupont Circle Metro Station

The man was transported to the hospital Wednesday.

A man sustained injuries after being stabbed outside of the Dupont Circle Metro Station.

According to WUSA9, police received a call about the aggravated assault around 4:08 p.m. Wednesday. The man had been stabbed and was transported to a hospital with injuries.

After being stabbed the victim ran inside the Q Street entrance of the station, officials told FOX 5.

Police arrested a suspect and the victim does not have life-threatening injuries, WUSA9 reports.

There have been more than 80 aggravated assaults reported by the Metro Transit Police this year so far.
